WFN12

WFN12 is a well pad located in West Finley Township, Washington County, PA that will consist of nine (9) Marcellus wells. CNX completed drilling of five wells in April of 2024. Air monitoring was initiated in May of 2024, with the commencement of hydraulic fracturing activity. These five (5) wells are currently in the production phase (Trip 1).

Top hole drilling for the final four planned wells started in October of 2024, and horizontal drilling started in January of 2025. The wells are slated to be hydraulically fractured in October of 2025 and turned over to production in early 2026 (Trip 2).

Air Quality Monitoring

Upwind and downwind air quality monitoring equipment measuring PM2.5 (particulate matter) and VOCs known as BTEX was installed within 500’ of the well pad.

The prevailing wind direction for this region is from the southwest. CNX positioned the PM2.5 monitors such that one would be subject to winds from upwind of the well pad and the other would be in the path of wind traveling across the well pad (downwind).
