Operated assets primarily include the Marcellus and Utica shale in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia, and waste coal mine methane capture and coal bed methane operations in Virginia, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.

CNX designs, builds, and operates natural gas gathering systems to move gas from the wellhead to interstate pipelines or other local sales points. CNX owns or operates approximately 2,600 miles of natural gas gathering pipelines and a number of natural gas processing facilities. CNX Water efficiently manages water transfer, evaluates emerging treatment technologies, and takes a strategic approach to third-party water sales. CNX Water is uniquely positioned in the Appalachian Basin, with multiple water sources and water pipelines to effectively serve the company’s operational needs while providing opportunity for third-party sales and community co-benefits.
